On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to<br>
the 9th International Conference on High Energy, Particles and Nuclear<br>
Physics in the LHC Era, previously called High Energy Physics in the LHC<br>
Era (HEP), which will be held from January 6th to 10th 2025 in<br>
Valparaíso, Chile. The conference will be hosted by the Federico Santa<br>
María Technical University (UTFSM) Central Campus. Please note that the<br>

The event aims to bring together young and senior scientists, theorists,<br>
and experimentalists, to discuss recent progress in the field of High<br>
Energy Physics. The program will address a broad range of topics,<br>
covering the main areas of high-energy particle physics, nuclear physics<br>
and beyond, such as:<br>
- Higgs and EW physics.<br>
- Neutrino physics.<br>
- QCD.<br>
- Beyond the Standard Model physics.<br>
- Dark matter particle searches.<br>
- Astroparticles.<br>
- Nuclear physics.<br>
- Heavy Ion Collisions.<br>
- Gravitational waves measurements.<br>
- Particle detectors and instrumentation.<br>
- Future experimental facilities.<br>

We encourage researchers to submit presentations of physics results from<br>
experimental high energy and nuclear physics labs (CERN, IHEP, JLAB,<br>
RHIC, DESY, Fermilab and other institutions) and expect that theory<br>
talks will go beyond the scope of the physics from these facilities.<br>
<br>
We cordially invite you to participate in the conference and give a<br>
presentation on any topic relevant to the scientific program and your<br>
research area.<br>

In addition, the location of the event offers its own unique backdrop.<br>
The port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage City, is famous for its<br>
hills, late 19th-century architecture, and public elevators which lead<br>
to spectacular views of the bay. Neighboring Viña del Mar offers long<br>
beaches and beautiful gardens.<br>

Abstract submission:<br>
We are now accepting abstracts submission. The deadline is the 30th of<br>
November 2024. Please submit your abstract at your earliest possible<br>
convenience. If you have trouble submitting the abstract through the<br>
Indico website, you can email it to hep-chile@usm.cl.<br>
<br>
Registration and conference fee:<br>
Please register through the conference website. The registration<br>
deadline is the 30th of November 2024. The conference fee early payment<br>
is USD 480 (valid until the 31st of October). Afterwards the conference<br>
fee is USD 530. The fee covers the participation to the conference,<br>
local transportation, the welcome kit, the welcome banquet, as well as<br>
coffee breaks and lunches for the duration of the conference. The<br>
conference fee can be paid through the payment website, under the<br>
"Conference Fee payment" link. You will receive a confirmation email<br>
after the validation of your payment. Please send a copy of the receipt<br>
to the conference email: hep-chile@usm.cl. Please note that the<br>
registration, the fee payment, and the abstract submission are three<br>
independent processes. We encourage you to register at your earliest<br>
possible convenience.<br>

Accommodations:<br>
The arrangement of accommodation is not part of the registration<br>
procedure. A list of hotels can be found under the Accommodation link in<br>
the conference website. If you need assistance with hotel reservation,<br>
please contact our conference administrative assistant Marioly Neira at<br>

Visa information:<br>
The participants are requested to familiarize themselves with the visa<br>
requirements well in advance of the conference. Letters of invitation<br>
for visa purposes will be available upon request to the organizers at<br>
hep-chile@usm.cl. January is a wonderful and busy time to visit Chile.<br>
Airfares currently look good but will start rising soon. We recommend to<br>
book tickets as soon as possible. If you have any question related to<br>
