<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">QCD is an incredibly rich theory because of the strong dynamics between quarks and gluons. This also leads to theoretical need to be able to describe the properties of experimentally observed hadrons
in terms of those constituents. Lattice QCD is a method for evaluating the QCD path integral over quark and gluon fields but obtaining results for the masses and matrix elements of the lowest energy hadrons. I will outline the basics of the Monte Carlo methods
used to generate correlation functions which require substantial computational resources. Analyzing this data can give masses, charges, form factors, and even parton structure directly from QCD given the systematic errors can all be controlled.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
