<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">scattering on light nuclei, especially next-generation experiments with the future EIC.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">The focus will be on "multiscale methods" for describing the interplay of low-energy nuclear structure with</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">high-energy scattering processes (see webpage). The goal is to enable the students to join current </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">research efforts and participate in the development of the EIC light-ion physics program.</span></div>

<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">The school is aimed at
<b>graduate students and junior postdocs</b> in theoretical or experimental nuclear physics.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Students with backgrounds and interests in hadronic physics and QCD, low-energy nuclear structure, </span></div>
<div style="font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">heavy-ion physics, or experimental methods are equally encouraged to apply.</span></div>

in person at Florida International University, June 18-27, 2025</b> (June 18 is arrival day). Topics will be </span></div>
<div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">covered in lectures of 3-6 h per topic, including exercises, Q&A sessions, and hands-on tutorials with </span></div>
<div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">simulation software. There will be extensive opportunities for informal interactions with lecturers and </span></div>
<div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">between students for mentoring and networking.</span></div>

<div>The organizers are able to provide financial support for participants' local expenses (lodging + meals).</div>
<div>Accommodation will be available at the FIU student dormitories (single rooms, shared facilities).</div>
<div>The school is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.</div>

<div>On-line participation will be arranged for those unable to travel.</div>
<div>In-person participation is strongly preferred when possible.</div>
