We are in the process of electing new members of the Jefferson Lab<br>

User Organization (JLUO) Board of Directors. This is an important<br>

body that represents the large JLab user community within the<br>

laboratory organization.<br>

<br>

The Board has a direct contact with the JLab management and<br>

promotes several initiatives to support the scientific activity<br>

(and social integration) of the users, with special attention<br>

to the early-career members.<br>

You are warmly invited to vote for new members of the JLUO Board<br>

The Vice-chair will serve for four years successively as Vice Chair,<br>

Chair-elect, Chair and Past Chair. The 2 at-large members, the postdoc<br>

and the graduate student representatives will each serve for two years.<br>

Candidate bios and statements are available for each candidate<br>

on the ballot.<br>

This year's nomination committee consisted of Lamiaa El Fassi<br>

(Mississippi State), Tanja Horn (CUA), Zein-Eddine Meziani (ANL),<br>

Jim Napolitano (Temple) and Marco Contalbrigo (INFN-FE, chair). I<br>

would like to thank the committee for its hard work in developing<br>

a strong slate of candidates.<br>

Let us thank the candidates who agreed to run and serve in the Board.<br>

<br>

Voting will close on May 27th at 5pm US ET. We encourage all to vote<br>

and help in selecting the future members of the JLUO Board. We are<br>

confident you will consider this as an important occasion to support<br>

the JLUO activity. JLab users are allowed to submit 1 ballot each.<br>
