On Monday, I announced to the staff that we will be implementing a Workforce Restructuring Plan. As we plan for the next Fiscal Year and the long-term success of the Lab, we are realigning our resources and talent to fulfill mission requirements and deliver
operational excellence within our funding environment. The first step of the Workforce Restructuring Plan is to implement a Voluntary Separation Plan (VSP). </div>

The goal is to attract 65 employees to participate in the VSP which is open to all eligible staff. For those who decide to participate in this voluntary separation program, a separation package will be offered. In the event we are unable to meet the goal of
65 participants through the VSP, we will need to pursue an Involuntary Separation Plan in FY26.</div>
