The Physics Department of Temple University in partnership with the 
Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) invites 
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in 
experimental hadronic/nuclear physics.  We are searching for an 
individual with a primary interest in the physics program of hadronic 
and nuclear physics carried out at Jefferson Lab.  The successful 
individual will be expected to build a strong research program that will 
enhance the current programs both at Temple University and at Jefferson 
Lab.   Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, post-doctoral 
experience, a demonstrated ability to initiate and lead independent 
research, an established record of publications in major scientific 
journals, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.   Review of 
applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position 
is filled.

statement of research plans, a one-page teaching philosophy, a list of
