*INDIANA UNIVERSITY*

*CENTER FOR THE EXPLORATION OF ENERGY AND MATTER*

The Center for the Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM) at Indiana
University invites applications for a postdoc in the area of polarized
3He neutron polarizers and analyzers and their application to neutron
scattering. CEEM is a multipurpose laboratory which conducts and
supports basic research in nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry,
accelerator physics, condensed matter and the life sciences. Information
about the IU Physics Department and CEEM can be found at
http://www.physics.indiana.edu <http://www.physics.indiana.edu/>, and
http://ceem.indiana.edu. The position is available from January 1, 2011
and is expected to last for two years, subject to satisfactory
performance. A completed Ph.D. degree in physics is required prior to
assuming the position. Previous experience in neutron scattering, NMR
measurements, laser optical pumping, and precision measurement would be
relevant. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Professor
Michael Snow at wsnow at indiana.edu for further information. Candidates
should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a description
of research interests and accomplishments, and a list of publications,
and they should arrange for submission of at least three letters of
