*Postdoctoral Position*

*Le Service de Physique Nucléaire (SPhN)*de l'Institut de recherche sur
les lois fondamentales de l'univers (Irfu) at Saclay (France) seeks to
fill a Postdoctoral position in Physics (2years starting in Fall 2011).
The candidate will work within the CLAS group of the SPhN, which has
been involved for many years in research on the nucleon structure at
Jefferson Lab (VA, USA).

The candidate will participate in the activities of the group including
the design of the Central Detector of the future CLAS12 spectrometer,
and in particular the Micromegas tracker and its associated electronics
also developed at Saclay. There will be opportunities to participate in
experiments and analyses in the Hall B of Jefferson Lab. Frequent trips
to the USA should be expected. The candidate will have broad
associations with other groups in the laboratory, in particular the
electronics detector group and throughout Europe and the USA to carry
out his/her function.

This postdoctoral position requires a Ph.D in experimental physics with
emphasis on particle or nuclear physics. An expertise in gaseous
detectors and/or their electronics would be a plus. Applications should
include a CV and two letters of recommendation and have to be made on
line at http://events.lal.in2p3.fr/P2I/(see "Appels d'Offres 2010/2011
post doctoral call"**thenPosition 3: Nucleon structure at Jefferson Lab).
