Postdoctoral Research Fellow in ElectroNuclear Physics
Hebrew University of Jerusalem

The fundamental interactions group at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to take part in experiments on 
nucleon structure at Jefferson Lab and Mainz. The position will be based 
at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with travel to Jefferson Lab and 
Mainz.

The successful candidate will take part in an experiment to measure the 
proton form factor ratio at very low momentum transfer at Jefferson Lab 
as well as play a central role in the design and prototyping of a 
neutron polarimeter for the A1 experimental hall at the MAMI accelerator 
at Mainz. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop 
his/her own research program in the field of ElectroNuclear physics.

A PhD in experimental nuclear physics is required. The candidate must
have a strong background in particle detector technology, detector 
simulation
and data analysis.
