Experimental Postdoc Position at MIT

The Hadronic Physics Group at MIT is interested in applications for a postdoctoral position to work on  experiments in electro- and photo-pion production and Compton scattering with  real and virtual photons. The experiments are at Mainz and JLab. The work could include data analysis and interpretation, planning of, and participation in  new experiments, and hardware development. The applicant should have a Ph. D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics, and knowledge of data analysis and Monte-Carlo techniques. Interested applicants should send any questions, a CV, a brief statement of present and past  research activities, and three or four letters of recommendation to Prof. Aron Bernstein, bernstein at mit.edu.
