The Department of Physics at the Temple University is seeking a Research
Assistant Professor to work in the area of experimental nuclear and
particle physics. Research will be conducted at the Thomas Jefferson
National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, Virginia. Teaching load for
this position will be 1 course / year. Candidates are expected to work on
hardware development, data analysis and on the preparation of new physics
proposals. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate to
funding proposals as a PI or co-PI.

A Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics is required. Applications should
