The Fundamental Neutron Physics group at the University of Tennessee is
seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in experimental nuclear
physics. The successful candidate will join our group's program of
hadronic weak interaction and beta decay experiments at the Spallation
Neutron Source at ORNL in TN. The candidate must have a PhD (or satisfied
all substantive requirements for a PhD) in nuclear physics and
demonstrable experience with experiments at a major nuclear physics user
facility. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to make
significant contributions to 3 experiments that are scheduled to run at
the SNS: NPDGamma (HWI, currently in progress), n+3He (HWI), and Nab
(beta-decay). The successful applicant should be proficient in C++, ROOT,
as well as VME electronics. Experience with current mode detector
techniques is desirable. Applications should be submitted on-line
