Brief job description:
The applicant must be able to teach a wide range of lower and upper 
division undergraduate physics courses. A normal teaching load is 12 
credits per semester, and at least 8 office hours weekly. A strong 
commitment to undergraduate teaching, mentoring and research on campus, 
potential in scholarly work and grantsmanship is essential. Other duties 
include professional development, departmental, institutional and 
community service.

Minimal qualifications:
Ph.D. in Pure or Applied Physics. A minimum of one year teaching 
experience or one year of post-doctoral experience is required. 
Applicants should show evidence of outstanding research potential in an 
area that matches the interests of the department in an 
interdisciplinary (STEM) approach.
