The Research and Technology Division in the Department of Energy’s
Office of High Energy Physics (HEP) has a job opening for aprogram
manager for the Intensity Frontier research program. Program managers
are the stewards of the portfolio of grants and national laboratory
projects for their scientific area. The program manager establishes the
strategic vision, writes funding opportunity announcements, manages the
peer-review process, and oversees the active research projects. The
Intensity Frontier research program is among the largest in HEP and
highlighted in the recent HEP strategic plan. For more information on

This position is a full-time federal employment opportunity for a
Physicist/Physical Scientist. The position will open on USAJobs on June
