Modeling and Software Tools Developer at EPA
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for a Modeling and Software Tools Developer at the EPA facility in Raleigh Durham, NC. The Developer shall provide support Life Cycle-Human Exposure Model, which is developing software tools to assess the exposures to chemicals from the use of consumer products.
* Full time, $27.72/hour
* Must have earned a Master's degree in computer science, IT, physics, chemistry or related field of study
* Must have a general understanding of quantitative techniques and some experience with computer programming. Experience with computer languages of R and Python is a plus
* Subject matter expertise and additional technical skills will be taught on the job if necessary.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF THEORETICAL PHYSICS
Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure track faculty position. This position will be located at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in the Department of Science, Technology, and Mathematics, and will provide academic support to programs in Biophysical Sciences, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Mathematics, and Engineering. We seek a theoretical physicist with a strong record of interest and research in the area of general relativity, gravitational waves, cosmology, and/or the nature of dark matter/dark energy. This person will also work in a multi-disciplinary team to support critical initiatives to improve the application of analytics throughout the university.
Qualifications: An earned PhD in Physics from a regionally accredited institution. Experience in higher education and/or in the field of Physics is preferred. Candidates will be expected to teach a combination of online and on-campus courses and to develop, review, and update curriculum.
Expectations: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate level courses; 4) experience with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to enthusiastically embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements. Washington, DC. The associate shall provide support to the Office of the
Science Advisor to assist the team with the logistical, administrative
and written duties to support and maintain the robust research portfolio
and communication outreach.

·Must have earned a Master’s degree in Life or physical sciences,
engineering or policy.
·Must have experience relevant to the environmental or human health fields.
