Postdoctoral position in accelerator-based neutrino physics at
University of Pittsburgh

The HEP group at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a
postdoctoral research position in neutrino physics. The group's current
activities include studies of neutrino interaction physics (MicroBooNE
and Minerva) as well as short and long-baseline oscillation physics
(MicroBooNE, T2K and DUNE). We are also involved in planning the next
phase of Minerva (CAPTAIN-Minerva) and in preparing for the DUNE
single-phase prototype beam test at CERN (ProtoDUNE). The applicant will
be encouraged to take advantage of existing data samples for analysis
(Minerva and MicroBooNE) as well as to take on a significant hardware
responsibility related to the upcoming projects.

A PhD in experimental particle or nuclear physics is required.
Interested candidates should send a Curriculum Vita and arrange to have
three letters of reference sent to Prof. Donna Naples
(dnaples at pitt.edu<mailto:dnaples at pitt.edu>). Review of applications will
begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
University of Pittsburgh is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action
employer. Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
