Position Summary
Serve as manager of all 100-level undergraduate laboratories; manage the graduate teaching assistants for these labs;
maintain and develop the equipment needed for the teaching labs; develop new and innovative laboratory experiments in
consultation with the faculty who teach the corresponding lecture courses; revise, edit, and publish laboratory manuals
as necessary.
Teach one course per semester
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Physics or closely related field, evidence of strong teaching ability and ability to mentor PhD students
Preferred Qualifications
At least 3 years experience and a proven track record in laboratory and demonstration development for physics teaching,
and some experience managing laboratory teams.
