The Physics and Astronomy Department at California State University, Los
Angeles is seeking an assistant professor for the tenure track. The
links to the advertisement are above. Please let interested applicants
know that, although we prefer an applicant with “Experience in
developing innovative instructional labs, especially for
introductory-level physics courses. “ we will be interested in hearing
from applicants who have a serious interest in developing such labs even
if they don't have experience.

Applicants should think about their experiences with undergraduate
students in such labs.

What sort of difficulties did these students have in the labs?

If the applicant were given the opportunity to address these
difficulties what would he/she propose for the labs?

Would the applicant be willing to work with the department's faculty and
staff in developing new labs?

Thanks,
Konrad Aniol
Physics & Astronomy,
CSULA
