Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a 
full-time, tenure track faculty position. This position will be located 
at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Regent University is one of the nation's leading academic centers for 
Christian thought and action, offering over 95 associate, bachelors, 
masters and doctoral degrees and enrolling more than 9000 students 
worldwide. Regent offers high-quality, in-demand and affordable degree 
programs while remaining committed to its foundational mission to 
educate Christian leaders to change the world.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in the 
Department of Science, Technology, and Mathematics, and will provide 
academic support to programs in Biophysical Sciences, Cybersecurity, 
Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Mathematics, and Engineering. We 
seek a theoretical physicist with a strong record of interest and 
research in the area of general relativity, gravitational waves, 
cosmology, and/or the nature of dark matter/dark energy. This person 
will also work in a multi-disciplinary team to support critical 
initiatives to improve the application of analytics throughout the 
university.

Qualifications: An earned PhD in Physics from a regionally accredited 
institution. Experience in higher education and/or in the field of 
Physics is preferred. Candidates will be expected to teach a combination 
of online and on-campus courses and to develop, review, and update 
curriculum.

Expectations: 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 
2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to 
teach undergraduate level courses; 4) experience with online 
instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to enthusiastically 
embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements.
