TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PHYSICS

The Physics Department at Northern Michigan University is conducting a 
search to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant 
Professor level.  The position begins August 2019. The successful 
candidate will be expected to teach courses and labs in lower and upper 
levels of Physics.  The position requires participation in department 
and university outcomes assessment, participate in department service 
and university activities, and perform other assignments as per 
departmental needs. The successful candidate will engage in reasonable 
research/scholarship for their field and the university. Research that 
can engage NMU undergraduate students is preferred but not required.  
Applications completed by December 20, 2019 will be given full 
consideration.
