Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is one of the largest global suppliers of healthcare equipment, renowned for innovative products, services and solutions including diagnostic imaging systems, therapy equipment for treatment and electro-medicine and IT solutions to optimize workflow and increase efficiency in the healthcare industry. We are working on novel technologies to develop the next generation of molecular imaging solutions.

We are currently looking for Ph.D. student interns to work in our SPECT Research group in Hoffman Estates, IL.

We seek students with experience in some subset of the following:

  *   Particle detection technology
  *   Monte Carlo Simulation with Geant4
  *   Programing experience with Python, C/C++/C#, or Matlab
  *   Database architecture (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc)
  *   Parallel computing with GPUs and/or FPGAs
  *   Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning
Requirements:
Must be a current Ph.D. or Masters student in physics or a related field.
