Assistant/Associate Professor – Radiochemistry and Radiological Health Physics



Faculty position (open rank) for a nuclear chemist/radiochemist at the department of Physics and Applied Physics at UMass Lowell starting Fall 2020. This hire is to strengthen and broaden our Radiological Sciences program to include radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry and/or nuclear forensics research/teaching. UMass Lowell administration has committed significant infrastructure investment to support this direction. The successful candidate will have ~1500 sf of their own radiochemistry laboratory. with appropriate hoods, and vented glove boxes, to be completed prior to Fall 2021, as well as the opportunity to participate in and inform the design process.
