The Department of Physics at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites applications for a Tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Academic Year) with the appointment starting in Fall 2023.  The desired candidate will support the growth of the new Master’s in Systems Engineering program as well as the physics undergraduate program.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach currently developed courses and/or develop new courses that support the goals of the MSSE as well as the objectives of the physics department, develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program, advise graduate and undergraduate students; contribute to university and professional service; foster interdisciplinary collaborations; and engage in college and university diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
