Postdoctoral Position in High-Energy Experiment
Carnegie Mellon University

The intensity frontier effort within the High Energy Physics group
at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a postdoctoral
researcher.  Our current program is focused on the Belle II experiment,
which is currently accumulating a large dataset.
The successful candidate will participate in data analysis including
but not limited to weak flavor physics and also contribute to CMU
efforts on dE/dx reconstruction, calibration, and simulation.
It is expected that the position would be based primarily in Pittsburgh,
with travel to KEK (Japan) as needed.

Our department is also active on the CMS experiment at the LHC
along with significant efforts in particle theory, cosmology,
and medium-energy physics, making for a rich environment.

A Ph.D. in experimental high-energy or medium-energy physics
is required by the time of the initial appointment.
Applicants should supply a cover letter detailing research interests,
a curriculum vitae, and a publication list indicating significant
contributions.  Three letters of recommendation are also required.

The position is available beginning in the late spring or early summer
of 2022 and is renewable annually.  Review of applications will begin
