This post is roughly equivalent to a tenured Associate Professor, is full time and offered on an open-ended basis, and is available from 1st October 2022.

In this role, you will develop, lead and sustain research and scholarship of international standard and contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing agreed teaching, assessment and administration processes to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Physics and Astronomy. You will play a prominent role in the Jefferson Lab physics exploitation programme, the associated detector maintenance and development and have a leading role in preparations for the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) facility at the Brookhaven National Laboratory.
