[Cugapost] Postdoc on global PDF fits at Hampton U.

Dear colleagues,

The Hampton University Department of Physics invites applications for one (1) postdoctoral associate position to begin as soon as May 1, 2023. The initial appointment is extendable for up to two years in total, depending on mutual satisfaction and availability of funding. Review of applications will start on Feb 28, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled.

The postdoctoral position is to be filled in the research group of Dr. Alberto Accardi. The successful candidate will be employed full time at Hampton University, but will be stationed primarily at Jefferson Lab. The main focus of the position will be on simultaneous global QCD fits of parton distributions in the proton and the deuteron, and of partonic dynamics in light nuclei. Theorists as well as experimentalists with strong phenomenological interests are invited to apply.
