for a Tenure-Track position at the level of Assistant Professor in
Experimental High Energy Nuclear Physics. The successful candidate is
expected to teach undergraduate and graduate physics and establish an
externally-funded research program directly involving graduate and
undergraduate students. The NMSU Physics Department offers Bachelor's

The experimental high-energy nuclear physics group (M. Paolone, S. Pate,
V. Papavassiliou) conducts research in nuclear structure that includes
the MicroBooNE, SeaQuest, and SpinQuest experiments at Fermilab as well
as nuclear structure, excitation, and medium modification studies at
Jefferson Lab. The theoretical nuclear and particle physics group (M.
