Department of
Physics at Kyungpook National University, one of the leading
universities of
Korea, <br>
is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty position at the
junior or senior level to begin Spring 2012. <br>
Kyungpook National University has
about 1,150 full time faculties, 22,000 undergraduate students and <br>
7,000
graduate students in two campuses: Daegu Campus and Sangju Campus. The
Department of Physics <br>
is located in Daegu, one of the metropolitan cities in
the southeast area of Korea</span><span style=""> with a population of
2.5 million.<o:p></o:p></span>

has 18 faculty members, 7 joint faculties, 17 research/visiting
professors, 5
staffs, <br>
about 240 undergraduate students and 60 graduate
students. The Department has active research groups <br>
on high energy physics,
nuclear physics, and condensed matter physics.<br>
