Parity-violating Electroweak Asymmetries at Syracuse
University #072577

exciting postdoctoral opportunity available to work on the
program at Jefferson Laboratory, Newport News VA to measure
parity-violating electroweak asymmetries. The primary
responsibility will be to participate in the design of two new
major spectrometers, SOLID and MOLLER. The candidate will also
have the opportunity to participate in ongoing experiments at
Jlab, including the commissioning and data taking of the
approved PREx and CREx parity-violating electron scattering
experiments in Hall A.

The successful candidate will join members of the Experimental
Nuclear Physics group conducting experiments to test the
Standard Model, as well as low energy QCD, and the neutron
distribution inside nuclei.

The candidate will have the flexibility to reside either in
Syracuse, NY or Newport News, VA.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or
particle physics. Prior experience with both software and
