                            <p>​The University of Washington Department
                              of Physics, in conjunction with its Center
                              for Experimental Nuclear Physics and
                              Astrophysics (<a moz-do-not-send="true"
                                href="https://www.npl.washington.edu/"
                                target="_blank"
                                style="color:rgb(0,114,188);text-decoration:none">CENPA</a>),
                              seeks an outstanding individual for a
                              tenured or tenure-track faculty position
                              in experimental nuclear physics.  Of
                              particular interest are creative
                              candidates specializing in Fundamental
                              Symmetries or Neutrino Physics, who wish
                              to initiate their own research programs at
                              CENPA, or who already have a leadership
                              role in one of the existing Nuclear
                              Physics Long Range Plan priority
                              programs.   Current CENPA faculty are
                              involved in the neutrino mass experiments
                              KATRIN and Project8, the MAJORANA
                              DEMONSTRATOR neutrinoless double beta
                              decay search, high-precision muon g-2 and
                              muon capture experiments, and a sensitive
                              test of He-6 beta decay.  CENPA is the
                              site of the ADMX axion search, and a suite
                              of tabletop gravity experiments.  The lab
                              provides partial support for the Hg-199
                              EDM search.  The University of Washington
                              is home to the national Institute for
                              Nuclear Theory (INT), which hosts a
                              diverse series of Programs and Workshops,
                              as well as research in a wide variety of
                              nuclear physics areas.  The UW faculty
                              includes groups in both nuclear and
                              particle theory, and in experimental
                              high-energy physics with ATLAS. <br>
                              <br>
