<strong>Job description: </strong><br>
The particle physics group at University of Houston is seeking a
candidate to fill an opening for </p>
<div> a postdoctoral researcher in experimental neutrino physics.
The successful candidate will be</div>
<div> expected to work with graduate students while also championing
their own analysis efforts. Research</div>
<div> will be focused on neutrino-nucleus interaction and neutrino
oscillation measurements with the</div>
<div> T2K, ICARUS, and DUNE experiments. There will also be
opportunities to work on hardware</div>
<div> tasks, use high performance computing facilities, and develop
machine learning based analysis</div>
<div> techniques. The position will be based in Houston, but will
include frequent travel to Japan</div>
<div> (T2K) and/or Fermilab (ICARUS and DUNE) for meetings, shifts,
and hardware installation and</div>
<div> maintenance. Opportunities for additional travel to CERN and
other locations for meetings and</div>
<div> conferences we be available as well. The initial appointment
will be for two years, with the</div>
<div> possibility of renewal. Candidates should have a PhD in
experimental particle physics, or a</div>
<div> related field. The position is available on or after Sept.,
1st 2018.<br>
