            <p>The Department of Physics at William & Mary invites
              applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor
              position in theoretical hadronic physics to begin August
              10, 2019.<br>
              The initial appointment for this position will be jointly
              supported by the Theory Center at Jefferson Lab as a
              bridged staff scientist. Candidates must have experience
              in theoretical Nuclear and Hadronic Physics, including the
              fields of perturbative and non-perturbative <span
                class="caps">QCD</span>, hadron structure and
              spectroscopy, effective  field theories and the
              application of lattice <span class="caps">QCD</span> to
              all aspects of strong interaction physics. The successful
              candidate is expected to initiate and maintain a strong
              research program, seek external funding, and demonstrate
              excellence in teaching at both the graduate and
              undergraduate levels.</p>
