Professor of Physics - High Energy or Nuclear Physics Lehigh University
The Department of Physics at Lehigh University invites applications for a faculty posi- tion in High Energy or Nuclear Physics, broadly defined (including quantum field the- ory, high energy theory, string theory, theoretical cosmology, experimental medium or high-energy nuclear/particle physics). The search is for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, or for highly qualified candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level. The anticipated starting date is August 2019. Candidates should have a PhD in Physics, or equivalent. This faculty search aims to strengthen the fundamental physics component of the Physics Department, which includes research programs in nuclear and particle physics, string theory, astrophysics, atomic and molecular physics, statistical physics, computational physics, condensed matter physics, nonlinear optics and photonics, bio- physics and soft matter. Physics faculty are committed to research excellence, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and service to the academic community.

The Physics Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology faculty position in Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physics
The Physics Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, invites applications for the faculty position described below. Faculty members at MIT conduct research, teach undergraduate and graduate physics courses, and supervise graduate and undergraduate participation in research. Candidates must show promise in teaching as well as in research. A Ph.D. in physics or physics-related discipline is required by the start of employment. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Theoretical Physics University of South Carolina College of Arts & Sciences Department of Physics & Astronomy.
The University of South Carolina invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the- oretical physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy to begin August 16, 2019. A PhD and postdoctoral experience in theoretical physics are required with expertise in par- ticle physics, astrophysics, or cosmology. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an internationally competitive research program as well as to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physics and astronomy. We expect this individual will collaborate with theoretical and experimental colleagues in astronomy and astroparticle, nuclear, and high-energy physics. A record in attracting funding for research and/or teaching efforts will be beneficial.
