The Department of Physics at Lamar University (Texas State
University System) invites applications for an <b>Instructor
in Physics </b>to begin in January 2019, or until filled.
The one-year appointment may be extended depending upon
funding. The candidates must have experience teaching Physics
at the university/college level. Qualified candidates must be
committed to student learning. The successful candidate must
have the ability to work with students from diverse
backgrounds and will be expected to teach both lectures and
labs for elementary and general (algebra-based and
calculus-based) Physics courses. The candidate must
