<div class="" style="font-family:TimesNewRomanPSMT">The Medium Energy Group at BNL’s Physics department has an opening for three (3) Postdoctoral Research Associates. <br class="">

The selected candidates will work on integrating the requirements from the versatile physics program of an EIC <br class="">

into the interaction region, the eRHIC detector and the auxiliary detector designs (i.e. Luminosity Monitor, low Q2 -Tagger, electron polarimetry) <br class="">

and perform studies on beam backgrounds of the physics program. In addition, the Research Associates will contribute to further develop the <br class="">

scientific portfolio of the EIC and analyze polarized proton–proton data from the STAR experiment at RHIC.<br class="">
