News VA to measure parity-violating electroweak asymmetries. The primary responsibility will be to participate in the design of two new major spectrometers, <span class="caps">SOLID</span> and <span class="caps">MOLLER</span>. The candidate will also have
the opportunity to participate in ongoing experiments at Jefferson Laboratory, including the commissioning and data taking of the approved PREx and CREx parity-violating electron scattering experiments in Hall A.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333"><br>
<span style="background:white">The successful candidate will join members of the Experimental Nuclear Physics group conducting experiments to test the Standard Model, as well as low energy <span class="caps">QCD</span>, and the neutron distribution inside nuclei.
