Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF). To expand the opportunity for discovery and to address important topics in hadronic, nuclear, and electroweak physics, Jefferson Lab completed in 2017 an upgrade of its facility by doubling the energy of the electron
beam from 6 GeV to 12 GeV, constructing a new experimental hall (D) and upgrading its existing experimental halls, A, B, C. In experimental Hall A, an ambitious program of large installation experiments centered around the Super BigBite Spectrometer is planned
and new large detectors, including MOLLER and SoLID are under construction and development. In Hall C, a series of experiments with two large superconducting spectrometers is planned, and a new Neutral Particle Spectrometer and novel Compact Photon Source
are under construction and development. Both halls, additionally, employ polarized targets and beamline polarimeters to support a variety of spin-physics research.<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">
