<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: ArialMT">The Department of Physics at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time visiting instructor position in Physics to begin August 2020. This is a non-tenure track appointment, annually
renewable for up to two years after the initial year, contingent upon performance, budget, and continued need. Applicants must have at least a Master’s degree; a Ph.D. in physics or a related field is preferred. The instructor will teach two sections per semester
(12 contact hours per week or the equivalent of 8 units per year) of introductory physics courses for both science and non-science majors, in an active-learning workshop format.</span></p>
