Science Initiative. The topic of work relates to developing a novel<br class="">
AI/ML technique with an initial application to LArTPC detector data from<br class="">
MicroBooNE, ProtoDUNE, ICARUS and other existing and future experiments<br class="">
in which BNL is involved. Future application to sPHENIX is planned.<br class="">
The goal of the work is to understand and solve the difficult problems<br class="">
related to the use of imperfect simulations to train AI/ML networks that<br class="">
