Applications are invited for a postdoctoral associate or senior research associate position in experimental nuclear physics in the group of Prof. Mark Pitt at Virginia Tech. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate
will be to make important contributions to the development of the MOLLER project at Jefferson Laboratory. The MOLLER experiment is a parity-violating electron scattering experiment in preparation for Hall A at Jefferson Laboratory. Its goal is to search for
physics beyond the Standard Model at the TeV scale. The work will involve simulation, design, construction, and testing of hardware for the experiment and planning for the execution of the experiment. Duties may also include supervising and coordinating the
work of other researchers and personnel, especially graduate and undergraduate students.
