<div>The Fundamental Neutron Physics group at the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in experimental nuclear physics. The successful candidate will have a prominent role in the group’s efforts in their neutron beta decay
efforts at the SNS and NIST.</div>

<div>UT’s Department of Physics & Astronomy has an exemplary research record, with seven professors earning NSF CAREER awards in the past eight years, eight professors recently cited among the world’s top two percent of physicists (based on citations), and
Professor Geoff Greene honored with the prestigious Bonner Prize in 2020. The University of Tennessee is a thriving research community located near Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with whom UT shares five joint institutes. Situated in the Tennessee Valley,
the University is on the doorstep of the Smoky Mountains National Park. </div>

<div>The candidate must have a PhD (or satisfied all substantive requirements for a PhD) in nuclear physics and demonstrable experience with experiments at a major user facility. The successful candidate will be expected to take the lead (including the supervision
