The post is based in the hadron physics theme and will involve (i) R&D for new polarised particle detector technologies, which have potential application for future EIC programmes and more generally in nuclear and neutrino physics laboratories and (ii) contribute
to the group's engagement in simulation, detector design and physics programme development for the future Electron Ion Collider (EIC) at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA. The post could start as early as January 2022. <br>
