The Department of Physics at the University of Regina invites<br>

<div class="PlainText">applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of<br>
Assistant Professor who would be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada<br>
Research Chair (CRC) in subatomic physics phenomenology. The position<br>
is not contingent on a successful CRC application. The anticipated<br>
start date is July 1, 2022.<br>

The Department of Physics is a leader in subatomic physics research<br>
with established programs in neutrino physics (T2K and Hyper-K),<br>
beyond the Standard Model phenomenology (MOEDAL, CERN), hadron<br>
structure (Jefferson Lab and the Electron Ion Collider), nuclear<br>
structure and astrophysics (TRIUMF), neutrinoless double beta decay<br>
(LEGEND), and applied nuclear science (Fedoruk Centre). We are<br>
seeking a subatomic physics phenomenologist to join our dynamic and<br>
collaborative department and develop a vigorous externally funded<br>
research program that is complementary to our existing research<br>
activities, will strengthen our role in national and in international<br>
projects, will open new avenues for future collaboration and will<br>
provide essential theoretical support for our experimental faculty.<br>
