<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Jefferson Lab, located in Newport News, Virginia, USA, is a world-class scientific laboratory managed for the U. S. Department of Energy by Jefferson Science Associates, LLC. It operates a fixed target program in four experimental
halls (A, B, C, D) at the luminosity frontier with large acceptance detection systems and an electron beam of energy up to 12 GeV provided by the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF). The high luminosity operation and data acquisition rate
result in huge volumes of collected data (multi petabytes per year) which pose software organization, computing architecture and data management challenges. </span></p>

<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Jefferson Lab is seeking an outstanding person to support effective software coordination for the Physics Division to meet the mission needs of 12 GeV science, and to serve as a point of contact between the Physics Division and
the Scientific Computing Department.</span></p>

<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Interact with the Jefferson Lab physics, computer staff, and the user community to provide support and guidance on software and database development,</span></li><li class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Develop and support a searchable data-repository for Jefferson Lab physics results</span></li><li class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Support implementation of the ongoing and future AI/ML activities,</span></li><li class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt">Coordinate the ongoing and future streaming readout activities and distributed computing approach for the experimental halls,</span></li><li class="x_MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Calibri", sans-serif;">
