high energy diffractive scattering experiments at<span class="x_ContentPasted0"> </span><span class="x_x_ContentPasted0 x_ContentPasted0" style="margin: 0px; background: white; color: black;">the upgraded 12 GeV Jefferson Lab accelerator and the planned Electron-Ion
Collider (EIC).</span><span class="x_ContentPasted0"> </span>The successful candidate will work in the nuclear theory group, led by Professor Simonetta Liuti. We also have a new<span class="x_ContentPasted0"> </span><span class="x_x_ContentPasted0 x_ContentPasted0" style="margin: 0px; background: white; color: black;">collaborative
effort with a uniquely cross-disciplinary and diverse group of experts in</span><span class="x_ContentPasted0"> </span>the<span class="x_ContentPasted0"> </span><span class="x_x_ContentPasted0 x_ContentPasted0" style="margin: 0px; background: white; color: black;">phenomenology
