[d2n-analysis-talk] ROOT & Analyzer on d2n analysis machine

Hi all,

I've installed ROOT to my home directory: /home/flay/root.

Also the analyzer is installed to: /home/flay/analyzer-1.5.12 (following
the Hall A analyzer instructions)

Both ROOT and the Analyzer are the newest versions available.

I was following transversity's description on how to pull the newest
version, and that's why I installed the analyzer to my home directory
first:

https://hallaweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Off_Line_Analysis_for_transversity

I pulled the newest version from CVS, and am currently checking that
things work alright -- I moved in our current replay scripts from my
machine to the d2n machine (so I don't have to change tags containing
e06010 to e06014). I have also created a directory labeled 'raw' in my
home directory, along with ROOTfiles. I was thinking we can load in (all
of) our raw files to 'raw' and symlink the ROOTfiles directory (set up in
d2n/replay/) to the home directory. This will make things neater I think.

I am still checking things out with the installation and set up.
Hopefully we will be up and running tomorrow.

If there's a better way I should organize/set things up, let me know.

Dave
