[d2n-analysis-talk] Strange Analyzer Issue

Hi all,

I've been attempting to complete my timewalk study this week, as I've
nailed down the timewalk for S1 late last week.

Now, I did the same procedure for S2m -- plot TDC vs. 1/sqrt(ADC), obtain
the slope, which goes into the DB.

My first order check is to first plot (from the command line):

[TDC - slope/sqrt(ADC)] vs. 1/sqrt(ADC)

This mimics what the analyzer does for the timewalk correction. All is well.

When I then place the coefficients into the DB, and then replay the run,
then check the plot of TDC vs. 1/sqrt(ADC) -- I get the original
(uncorrected) plot (?).

So, I've inserted printf() statements wherever necessary in my (on my
machine that is) THaScintillator.C class, and it seems to be grabbing my
coefficients, and calculating a timewalk correction. If this is all fine,
it's beyond me as to how it does <not> calculate the <true> corrected
variable.

Note: The Analyzer implements the S1 timewalk corrections just fine.

Since the THaScintillator class describes a general scintillator (from
what I can tell), this does not make sense in the least.

Has anyone encountered such an issue before?

Thanks,

Dave
