Hi all,
I've decided to post a discussion about the LHRS Optics to the Wiki, under
the 23 April Meeting:
https://hallaweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Analysis_resources_for_d2n
I discuss each coordinate system, some of the important (geometrical)
quantities, the optimization matrix, and the characteristic plots that I
will use to check our current matrix elements.
I think it will be good to post this information on its own, as opposed to
being embedded in an analysis talk (to serve as a point of reference).
I've read a number of different technical notes & theses (I've found
Vince's work, along with Yi's, to be most insightful) discussing the
optics, and I think this is a decent account of the important information.
I will have more information to discuss concerning the characteristic
plots during our meetings; this is merely an overview.
