Hi Dave,

If you're interested, I'd like to go though this with you when you're
at JLab.  If the event-by-event approach is working better than the
run-averaged approach, it suggests that a lot of triggers have multiple
paddles firing (ie. high backgrounds).  I thought the multiplicity was
pretty small.

Hopefully we can find some time and get this figured out.
