I assume you mean the ScratchROOTfiles and summaryfiles links are
broken.  You need to make the appropriate subdirectories in your /data1
directory.  So, for your setup:
  localROOT -> /data1/flay/
  ScratchROOTfiles -> localROOT/ScratchROOTfiles/ 
                   -> /data1/flay/ScratchROOTfiles

The last directory was missing.  I logged in and fixed it for you.
